Ulten Valley Museum

The Ulten (Ultimo) Valley Museum has been housed in the old schoolhouse in St. Nikolaus (San Nicolò) since 1973. The museum is a living picture book of Ulten Valley folklore and offers a complete overview of the nature and development of Ulten folk art and farming culture. Alongside the old handicrafts and fixtures, the museum provides insights into rural life in the past. The museum also enables visitors to make a foray into the animal kingdom to discover the range of species living in the Ulten Valley.
